Took me a bit to get used to the controls but I'm glad I persevered. Had fun exploring around and swimming with no time limit and no objective. Great job!
It feels like drowning...
Should I Sink / Swim?
There are no time limits, take your time. Sink or swim around and collect glows (tip: wear headphones and use binaural audio as a guide to find the next ones).
Also the game loops.
W to move,
A &D to rotate
(tip: the movements are controlled by impulse force, a little goes a long way)
I am not an artist, I used pictures of my face as reference.
I am not a writer, I found the lines from my old journal entry, they were not written specifically for the game.
I am a programmer though, but the controls may seem clunky and difficult, but it's on purpose.
Because that is what depression feels like to me, like sinking, like swimming. There is a sense of helplessness that you can't control, but at the same time, you do.
I am also a game designer, do you want to read my notes?
